Radon is measured in picocuries per liter of air (pCi/L). The "EPA Action level" is established at 4.0 picocuries per liter [air] (pCi/L). This is the level that determines whether radon mitigation is required. Results below 4.0 do not require mitigation, while results equal to or greater DO require remedial action; in agreement with IEMA 422.130(c).
